I am so happy and lucky that I found Emma, her team and classes when I did! I wanted to get back up and running with my fitness as soon as I was cleared to by the doc. Having been very active pre and during my pregnancy and also being in the health and Therapy industry I thought I would just breeze back into it!! During the first class with Emma I realised that I had to slow down and be kind to my body, that had just gone through a HUGE change and needed time even though I felt good. Emma made so much sense talking about breathing, connecting and rebuilding from deep inside. Not only did Emma help me to return to fitness correctly but also the importance of slowing down and enjoy my precious time with Sophie and being a first time Mum. I started training with Emma when my little boy Alex was 6 months old. I hadn’t trained since I was 12 weeks pregnant and found the thought of going back quite daunting. I needn’t have been worried at all, I loved the Empowered Mama class from the minute I started. Emma has created such a warm and supportive atmosphere in her classes that make them so enjoyable. She has done so much training to be an expert in the field of post-partum exercise and her passion for this area really shows. There is never any problem if your baby is crying and needs to be held or fed, Emma is always more than happy to oblige and all the babies love her

Once I returned to work I could no longer make the Empowered Mama’s classes, I was so sad to leave but I began PT with Emma once a week, and have also started her Women’s only Strength and Condition Classes. The class at 8am on a Saturday morning sets me up for the weekend and I find the group environment so much fun to train in, it’s so upbeat and challenging (in a good way!). Lots of the Mama’s I trained with in the Empowered Mama’s class have also joined this class and it is a lovely way to catch up. Emma is such an inspiring and supportive coach, and really brings out the best in her clients, I actually look forward to training with her and always leave my sessions in a great mood!

My Empowered Mama classes are one of the best things I’ve done since having Louis. It gets us out of the house at certain time twice a wk. I can clear my head, chat to other mamas & work out in a safe manner that is appropriate for post natal mamas ?️‍♀️. I was really worried about getting PND this time around as I had such a traumatic birth, but getting out of the house & clearing my head has been so good for my mental health. Don’t get me wrong I still have my bad day & suffer from PTSD but getting up & out & exercising really helps get the good endorphins going. Emma is an amazing coach, full of positivity & a wealth of knowledge in post natal fitness! After I had my first baby I got straight back to the gym but I was doing the wrong workouts for my body & ended up doing a lot of damage. I know I am in good hands with Emma & look forward to class twice a wk

On a personal level Emma has been one of my closest friends for years and incredibly supportive and encouraging through my pregnancy and it been no different since becoming a mum. Getting to see Emma in her professional environment as a pre and postnatal trainer has made me so proud her motivation, drive and ability to teach is a key part of her growing success and she manages to be a super mom to her son Jacob. 
Her classes have been so beneficial for me. I trained before having a baby so the classes were the perfect way for me to ease back into fitness and learn from a postnatal trainer which is so important. Training is my way of self care so this was super important for me to continue after baby. It's lovely to surround yourself with new mums and just get out of the house. It's not about losing the baby weight, I grew a human and I need to respect my body and mind myself so I can be a healthy mum to my daughter. I was delighted to be able to have my daughter in the gym with me making it so much easier for me to train. Now I am going back to work I can continue to progress in the gym and use the skills I have learnt I can always check in with Emma for advice. I can't recommend her enough.

Emma is a fantastic coach who is super knowledgable when it comes to post pregnancy exercise. At her Empowered Mama classes she caters to all levels of fitness, you know you are being looked after and all the exercises are safe and effective for mamas of new babies. She is also a warm, empathetic person who gets it when you turn up after 2 hrs sleep and encourages so that you find your inner superpowers to workout

I’ve been with the Empowered Mama’s since my little one was 12 weeks old & am still with the group now 9 months later. I have to say I love everything about Emma’s classes. 
The most important thing for me is that I’m training in the safest way. So much happens to your body during pregnancy that’s it’s important to train with someone who is specialised in the area. Not only is Emma passionate about what she does, she excels at it in every way. 
I was anxious before starting as I wasn’t sure how it would work with the babies in tow. I needn’t have worried as it works whatever way you need it to work for you & your little one. If you need to feed, you feed. If you need to do a nappy change, change the nappy. Whether you wheel your baby around with you from station to station, leave them to play on the playmat, let them chill in their car seats or use them in the actual workout...it all works. Emma has it kitted out with an abundance of playmats, toys & changing facilities so it just makes it nice & easy. Emma and her team are so attentive and are always on hand to help out...and get some baba cuddles too of course My little one had hip surgery which resulted in her being in a hip cast for a number of months. This meant that day to day, I had to carry her a lot more than you would a baby in a normal situation. The cast was particularly heavy too. I know if I hadn’t been training with Emma 2 days a week, my body would have suffered big time. Because of the classes I feel my body is strong and I’m very aware of my posture & alignment now. Things that can easily go out the window when your feeding, lifting or just when you’re generally exhausted! 
From the strength gain & recovery to having the chats with others mama’s & the great atmosphere, I honestly couldn't recommend the Empowered Mama’s more. And I couldn’t thank Emma more ...she has been such a infectious ball of energy & an absolute legend of a trainer. Thank you!

Getting back to training post baby was very important to me and I wanted to do it the right way. I went to a few classes earlier in my post psrtum journey that just didn't feel right. I came across Emma's classes and signed up when I was 6 months post partum. It was the best thing I did during my maternity leave and the classes became part of our weekly routine. Right from the start, you know you are in safe hands. Emma is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to post partum fitness and training. She goes above and beyond for everyone in her classes. Her team are amazing too and it is not just a great way to get back into fitness, but you also become part of a little community. You meet so many great mum's on the same journey where you can share advise and support each other. There is so much I didn't know about post partum training that I took away from the classes so now I can feel confident that I am training correctly for my post partum body. Emma is a mum so she understands - when you are wrecked after a bad nights sleep she makes sure your form is right and tells you to take it easy, when you need a minute and the baby is acting up she'll take them for a walk so you can get your reps in, she is always correcting form and making sure you are completing the exercises correctly. I can't recommend Empowered Mama or Emma enough. She excels at what she does and her dedication is clear to see. I miss the classes so much now I am back at work! Her classes are a must for any post partum Mama! I will definitely join her pregnancy classes in the future too if I am lucky to have another baby. Well done Emma and thank you for helping me back to fitness as a new mum!
